Good News over here... First project complete!
Our first customer just completed his project where he leased 1,500 of our nodes. He is extremely happy with the data
Let me back up - our business model demands adaptability, and the ability to find ways to pivot, scale, and respond to customer demands.
Demand for #seismic acquisition projects in Canada for 2024/ 2025 are looking stronger than previous years. We noticed a gap between available #seismic #nodes and #equipment available to contractors, and the demand for this season's projects.
Part of the seismic industry's challenge today is predictability. It's almost impossible for seismic companies to speculate and plan asset investment due to the volitity of our market. Conversely, none of the #seismic #equipment manufacturers have a strong appetite to invest in speculative inventory of channels for the leasing market. We see the perspective from both sides; who could blame either party?!
So - we have a great set of high quality seismic equipment for rent - Smartsolo 5HZ nodes. We have a great partner and facility set up in SE Calgary with Doug and GSR that will allow our customers to see and experience the system operation. We have the ability to scale to 40,000 channels (subject to market availabiltiy of course!) or more if needed.
So - we have our first #Canada #seismic #node #leasing happy customer - we have learned a few things as we put this service in place that will help us do better on our next project, and we hope to continue to grow and support high quality seismic projects and data in North America.
